The new Biopharmaceutical Bioprocessing Technology Centre (BBTC) will deliver cutting edge courses, such as the EngD in Biopharmaceutical Process Development, to both students and industry.

The UK is a world leader in the field of biopharmaceuticals and our understanding of biosystems and close links with industry have enabled the BBTC to attract major national investment to create this unique inter-disciplinary team. The BBTC contains both bioscientists and bioengineers who are at the forefront of a field that is constantly breaking new ground. We will deliver the first course in the UK that will enable students to understand Quality by Design (QBD) and focuses on Process Analytical Technologies (PAT). With brand new courses, facilities and equipment we are ready to prepare students for exciting new industrial challenges.
